Are you an experienced med comms Account Director looking for a more influential and strategic client side role?

An opportunity has arisen with a leading global organisation who specialise in the development and commercialisation of new medical therapies. With locations across the world, their extensive cross functional expertise and international reach has led to continuous growth and success over the last 20 years.

The medical communications team is made up of scientific specialists with a common goal to develop insightful and effective programmes that improve patient outcomes. Their experience covers a variety of therapy areas including Oncology, Cardiovascular, Rare Diseases and Immunology.

As Account Director you will be responsible for the management of established, big budget accounts, leading junior team members in the delivery of publications planning and commercial projects, and ensuring successful delivery on time and budget, and to the highest quality. You'll need an in depth understanding of brand strategy and product positioning that will add value and guidance.

- Experience to Account Director level in a relevant medical communications setting
- Proven track record of publications and promotional medical education account delivery
- Comfortable operating at a strategic level
- Superb relationship building and leadership abilities
- Strong financial management skills
