Brand New Role Reporting Directly into the CFO, whilst working closely with the FC.

Robert Half are exclusively engaged with a fast growing IT Solutions company based in North Berkshire, to recruit a new Financial Reporting Manager.

This business has a variety of well-known services that are utilised for Professional Technology Solution.

This role will involve managing the reporting processes, Group and Entity Statutory Audit processes.

The Role

The successful Financial Reporting Manager must be a qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent) and have a strong academic background.

Our client is looking for someone who has had a very stable and progressive career to date.

This would suit someone who is working as a Financial Reporting Accounting, Financial Accountant or looking to step up into an autonomous newly qualified role.

If you are coming from an IT, Business Services or Network Services then this could be a natural step sector wise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • to continually review the financial systems and processes aligning to the business, statutory, tax and regulatory requirements
  • to implement changes to ensure optimum business performance and internal controls
  • documenting procedures and maintenance of the documentation as processes are improved
  • entity and consolidated monthly and annual results
  • budgets and forecasts
  • dashboards
  • sales individual and group performance
  • other adhoc analysis
  • Responsibility of Cash flow reporting and management of finance partners
  • Due diligence for any acquisition opportunities or internal entity or at group level

Your profile

The successful Financial Reporting Manager is likely to be a qualified accountant with a strong academic background. A strong track record gained within a growing and complicated business is key. Exposure to one of the following sectors is essential an IT, Business Services or Network Services.

A strong technical match to the job description is important given the exposure and growth deliverables.
