Communications Project Officer (Student Services and Employability)
Our Internal Communications team in the Marketing and Communications department is responsible for communicating to 21,000 current students and 2,800 staff, to support student success and retention.
We are looking for a talented communications professional to step into this new role and help us to tell a compelling story to students about the important support services available to them – particularly around personal development, careers and employability.
This means working closely with our multi-campus Student Services department and also Marketing and Communications colleagues who lead on communications to current students and in managing relationships with external business audiences (particularly around employability).
You will have experience of writing enticing copy and working with different stakeholders to help them convey a clear message that meets the needs of a specific audience. Digital marketing packages and content management systems (including dotmailer and SharePoint) will already be familiar, so that you can ‘hit the ground running’.
Overall you will be motivated by ensuring that our students receive the important information that they need, when they need it, so that they thrive and are ultimately successful during their time with us.
This post is fixed term for one year.
Interviews are likely to be held week commencing 9 April 2018.
For an informal discussion to find out more about this role, please contact Anna Jones, Internal Communications Manager via email.
