EUC Technical Architect (Project Delivery) - 3 months Immediate Requirement

Duration - 3 months Initially
Rate - £500 - £525
Location - Central London

This role is for a seasoned Technical Architect to work on a high-profile project, providing technical leadership through the design and implementation of various EUC technical deliverables comprising RDS, Bitlocker Management, SCCM & Windows 10 integration.

This is a technical role to work within a project team, delivering the technology to underpin strategic improvements to working methods. The project is delivering to challenging timescales and requires a dynamic, self-motivated person to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the project manager in the technical deployment of new technical solutions.
* Prepare high-level and low-level design documentation for RDS, Bitlocker and SCCM solutions.
* Host technical workshops to drive out technical requirements and encourage decision making.
* Assist as necessary with technical documentation and deployment plans.
* Work closely with other project architects to ensure consistency and alignment across all project deliverables.
* Provide leadership and direction to the implementation engineers.
* Where necessary assist with the implementation and configuration of the solutions.

Knowledge and Expertise

* Detailed technical knowledge of;
o Microsoft Bitlocker management solutions; including associate GPO and firewall configuration requirements.
o Remote Desktop Server farms using Windows 2016 Servers.
o SCCM deployment and configuration to support Microsoft patching and application deployment to both locally hosted client computers and remote/home-based users.
o Migrating archived email content from Quest Archive Manager to a new cloud based mail archive solution.
o Enhancement and integration of a Windows 10 design into the overall EUC solution.
o InTune integration into an EUC solution.
o Delivery oversight of a VPN solution that has been designed by a third-party specialist.
* Considerable experience of preparing both high-level and low-level designs.
* Ability to work against challenging timescales.
* Technical leadership.
* Hands-on deployment where necessary to ensure delivery within project timescales.

* Juniper / Pulse VPN; functional requirements for integrating a mobile workforce into a total EUC solution.

Functional Competencies:
* Good organisation skills with a logical, analytical approach to solving IT problems and the ability to prioritise work to meet project demands and delivery deadlines.
* Ability to work on your own initiative whilst at the same time adhering to strict IT & Change policies and procedures
* Excellent customer facing skills, with a professional and helpful manner.
* Very clear communications both oral and written.
* Ability to facilitate decision making by providing complex technical information in simple formats.
