We are looking for a Customer Service Engineer to deliver a high level of customer service whilst meeting health and safety, financial, KPI, statutory, quality and contractual compliance. As a Customer Service Engineer you will provide Severn Trent Services client base with both Contract Management and Service Support, Specialising in Water Compliance related to Water Hygiene and Water Treatment, Specialising in Steam Boilers and Cooling Towers including a high level of chemical and microbiological analysis, whilst maintaining legislative compliance including the ability to assess, diagnose, determine the most appropriate resolution and support to any interruptions / issues which may evolve within those assets managed. The Customer Service Engineer will be required to deliver a high level of customer service whilst meeting health and safety, financial, KPI, statutory, quality and contractual compliance, be able to Identify, Develop and maintain relationships in relation to those clients within our geographical patch. You will be expected to Carry out chemical analysis and verification checks of boiler, cooling and process waters, including any sampling requirements for both chemical and microbiological analysis. It would be great if you've worked in a similar role before, with a working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (ACoP L8,HTM: 0401, Water Regulations, BS 8580)


* Chemistry Degree

* GCSE Maths, English &Science

* Full UK driving license

* Computer literate

* Water Hygiene BS02 & CG Course


* Experience within a Water Treatment Service Role

* Vocational training courses relating to water hygiene * Detailed knowledge of design of hot and cold water systems

* BS04 C&G Course

This post is home based and ideally you will be based in the central belt between Glasgow and the Edinburgh region.
