The Role - Pre-Sales Consultant (Medical Pathology Diagnostics)

Following expansion they now seek to recruit a Pre-Sales Consultant to provide expert knowledge in diagnostics systems, workflow consulting and laboratory automation. You will be responsible for planning and managing the laboratory solutions portfolio, working with the applications, sales and installation teams to understand the customer aims, designing workflow solutions and then ensuring the automated system provided meets customer expectations.

Working with the commerical team, you will prioritise customer contact and sales activities in order to meet agreed business targets. Through responding to customer and sales team enquiries, you will maintain and develop existing and new customer relationships, driving sales and increasing market penetration. You will also liase with the implementation team to ensure that the execution of laboratory solutions exceeds customer expectations.

Your Background - Pre-Sales Consultant (Medical Pathology Diagnostics)

To succeed in this varied and challenging role you must be able to demonstrate a background working within the medical pathology laboratory diagnostics or analyser sector and should have a strong understanding of workflow solutions, be able to understand and provide laboratory automation solutions. You may originally come from a biomedical scientist, engineering, technical support, projects or applications role and should be able to demonstrate the commercial awareness, strong customer facing skills and consultative acumen required to design diagnostic technical solutions for key customers.
