A temporary to permanent Credit Control role for a global software business.

Working in modern and newly refurbished offices with free parking and on site gym.

Client Details

A rapidly expanding global software business.


  • Call and e-mail customers to discuss and collect payments
  • Make notes of findings in the accounting system for reference
  • Review aged debt report on a daily basis to identify overdue debt
  • Provide special focus on the collection of aged (6 month +) and problematic debt
  • Help to facilitate the resolution of customer queries with the appropriate internal staff to ensure payment is received
  • Manage credit referencing
  • Monitor credit limits and payment terms
  • Raise credit notes with supporting reasons for approval by the Finance Manager and Finance Director as required
  • From time to time, you may be responsible for raising accurate invoices with input from the Professional Service and Sales team
  • Monitor cash receipts on a daily basis to identify outstanding remittances
  • Assist with the allocation of cash received and reconciliation of customer accounts
  • Send out overdue account statements and further reminders in line with Company Control Policy
  • Provide reconciliation between the Sales Ledger and General Ledger
  • From time to time this role may require travel to other sites


Must have own transport as location is rural

Available to start on short notice

Proven experience in a credit control role

confident on the phone and able to deal confidently with customer queries

9.00 - 17.30 1 hour for lunch (37.5 hour week)

25 days holiday + 8 BH
