The business are a multiple award-winning Microsoft Gold Partner that are utilising various Microsoft solutions and other technologies to enable business transformation within large clients.

Data Integration Architect will be hired at Senior Manager Level. You will work with third party clients providing Architecture expertise, supporting pre-sales and sales teams, providing SME services within this area and aligning yourself with the client. You will own the solution design for all processes in the scope and will work with the client to get end-to-end design and interface specifications approved.

Given the senior nature of this role you will enjoy taking part in project team meetings both internally and with the client. Data Integration Architect will take part in solution design and Integration Project implementation (Biztalk). You will enjoy the leadership and mentoring of technical resources, developing the careers of others in the team.

The hire will be developing propositions, methods, patterns and practices including proof-of-concept, prototype and demonstration systems. Ideally successful applicants will have worked across the full project lifecycle for a consulting or system integrator, working in an environment where they have taken appropriate accountability of estimates, design, implementation and operation.


The team requires the hire to have full end to end project experience including requirements, solution design, implementation and rollout experience. You will have strong understanding of BizTalk 2016/Biztalk2013 R2 – utilising WCF and other adapters, C#, ASP.NET, PowerShell and Microsoft Visual Studio.

Data Integration Architect will have the ability to design and distributed business solutions whether deployed on-premises or in public or private cloud. Our clients work with a mixture of technologies and approaches, so excellent understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle (traditional waterfall and agile approaches) from Design to Delivery is desirable.

Strong experience and knowledge in complex BizTalk maps, custom C# components, inline and external XSLT, developing custom pipeline components, batching/debatching.

Other skills and experience required include:

  • Being proficient in administering BizTalk including deployment (CI/CD), performance tuning, integration, and setting up and managing HA/DR setup for a complex multitier/multi computer BizTalk setup. Strong Knowledge of Source Control systems, such as VSTS or Github.
  • The hire will need to business facing with the skills to translate customer requirements into functional and technical architectures, including the ability to lead teams of users, analysts and designers, conduct requirements gathering, propose and effectively articulate ideas to stakeholders and build consensus.
  • You will ideally have proven track record of playing the Architect role of delivering at least three large scale solutions.
