Associate Director - Manchester - Planning & Development Consultancy£Negotiable dependant on experience + excellent benefits package Penguin are pleased to be working with a recognised leading consultancy in the Planning & Development Sector on the hire an Associate Director to join their Manchester team to assist in the growth of the office.The successful candidate will provide advice to the company's major development clients, particularly house builders and developers, supporting the delivery of strategic land through the planning system.You are likely to have around 6-8 years' experience and have recently worked on medium/large scale planning applications, mainly but not exclusively for residential-led developments. You will therefore be familiar with, and have the ability to address, the planning issues typically associated with residential developments, including design and access, affordable housing, five year land supply, s.106 agreements, and various technical considerations.As an Associate Directors you must demonstrate a very high level of technical competence, and quality of work, carried out with minimal supervision. You will be expected to have a good standard of written and spoken English, with good analytical and interpersonal skills. You will be working on a number of projects and so must also demonstrate the ability to manage projects and their own time and workload. You will also have market credibility and show a proven ability to win new work and clients, and nurture existing client relationships to win repeat businessYou will be providing advice to some of the UK's best companies on some of the most exciting and challenging projects.
