Data and Collation Analyst

The Business Protection Team is part of our Finance structure and provides proactive support to mitigate operational risk and reduce losses to help maximise profits. The Team focus on the provision of Insight, Assurance and Innovation whilst Protecting our brand, customers and colleagues from crime and the threat of crime. The Collation team is responsible for the development and maintenance of both financial and commercial reporting to drive improved quality decision making and provide insight to the wider Business Protection team to support effective solutions to reduce /mitigate risk and maximise business profit.
The role of the Collation specialist is to maintain the integrity of the MI Process with detailed review and data cleansing to ensure all data and reports are accurate, current, complete and consistent. The collation specialist will support the review processes by suggesting and implementing improvements and solutions. They will be responsible for providing general advice and analysis to internal business customers and develop overall business knowledge to facilitate the function and ensure reports are completed within the specified requirements and the agreed SLAs and ensure the requestor understands any limitations.
To make this work, we are looking for candidates who have a deep understanding of reporting and analytical tools, such as a working knowledge of SQL, SSIS and SSRS. You will ensure timely and accurate delivery of operational business MI for the Business Protection team to enable the team to drive and improve its overall performance. However, there's more to this role than your technical expertise. You'll need to be strong commercially and be able to show excellent stakeholder management skills to establish relationships across the Business Protection Team for the maintenance and development of the analytical capabilities.
