Location: Birstall, Leeds

Fruition IT is partnering with a growing financial business providing credit solutions who are looking to grow their service desk team and bring on board 1st line service desk engineers with exceptional customer service skills.
How will you be spending your time?
As part of a small IT support team, supported by your colleagues, team lead and Head of IT, it will be a hands-on role, where you will offer customer and basic technical support services to field agents for their applications on mobile, tablets and laptops.
Your responsibility will be to provide 1st line support to customers. Being the first point of contact, we want someone who will make a great impression and help resolve any incidents, where possible.
It will be expected that you log, prioritise and assign incidents in a timely manner, and escalate if necessary.
You will not only investigate queries, but also use and analyse these techniques in order to resolve queries. You will be confident in addressing these queries via various mediums such as face-to-face, over the phone or via email.
Experience we're looking for:
- Experience working in a 1st line Microsoft support environment
- Experience providing support to Desktop PCs, Laptops, Servers and Networks plus mobile devices and applications
- Basic Networking
- Understanding of Active Directory (AD)
- Experience supporting Windows 7, Microsoft Office, XP and Outlook
Alongside the skills listed above, the ideal candidate would be a strong communicator who prides themselves on attention to detail, and is intent on providing excellent customer service.
It would be favoured if you are a self-motivated individual who is proactive and thrives under pressure.
Other attributes that would be great include a passion for technology, with the ability to pick up and retain information about new technology, alongside being able to problem-solve effectively.
