An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are currently looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join our Colleague Services team based at our head office in Bradford. The position is available on a 12 months contract. Colleague Services are a team dedicated to providing YBS colleagues and leaders with a range of HR Services.

What you'll be doing
  • Coordinate the preparation, processing and balancing of the Society’s payrolls to ensure all employees are paid correctly and on time
  • To update the Colleague Services systems with changes to employees data
  • To ensure all payments and deductions are made in an accurate and timely fashion
  • To undertake general tasks in relations to payroll
  • Liaise with the business re information required
  • To ensure all payroll processes are documented, have an audit trail and are available to be annually audited to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the payroll system
The Knowledge & Skills you’ll have
  • Experience of end to end payroll processing for high volume employees
  • To be up to date with all current payroll related legislation
  • Experience of RTI, BACs and EOY processes
  • Excellent Tax/NI and statutory payments knowledge
  • Excellent organisation skills and great attention to detail
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Experience of working with Oracle as a payroll system would be advantageous
