My client is seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Administrator to join their committed team based in Central Bristol. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in Accounts Payable, ideally from a Legal background, with an enthusiastic and motivated approach to work. You will ideally have a Finance or Business background. Communication is key within the Accounts Payable department, so the successful candidate will be confident on the phone, talking to a wide range of clients and customers. You will demonstrate professionalism, tact and integrity in any internal or external correspondence.

Accounts Payable Administrator main duties will include;

  • Responsible for a consistent and reliable service is offered across the firm
  • Supporting the Finance Assistant with their duties
  • Timely processing of all purchase invoices
  • Correctly coding invoices with VAT treatment
  • Ensuring payments are made when due
  • Reconciling supplier payments
  • Processing internal expense claims
  • Processing business credit card spend
  • Maintaining multiple purchase order logs
  • Taking ownership of Accounts Payable process
  • Advising of improvements where necessary to Group Financial Controller
  • Maintain creditors ledger and chasing any unnecessary invoices
