The hours: 35 hours per week, to be worked Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6.00pm, and participate on the on-call rota, Saturday and Sunday, 9.00 - 5.00pm, bimonthly

Salary: £23,091 - £26,202 plus 7.5% market enhancement

The role

We are looking for an IT Support Officer to join our busy ICT team, providing a professional customer-focused IT support service from our offices across the East Midlands.

As part of the team you will be delivering solutions to incidents, working closely with the business and colleagues to maintain software applications, support a range of end-users equipment and be part of keeping our business systems running smoothly and effectively

Day to day, you will be:

  • Resolving complex customer problems (2nd line)
  • Helping our customers get the most out of our software and ICT solutions

  • Safeguarding our systems

  • Proactively identifying and researching potential challenges and creating solutions.

The ideal candidate

  • Application know-how to maintain and enhance bespoke software applications
  • Experience configuring and deploying PC, laptops, tablets, mobile phones.

  • A working knowledge of basic windows server administration

  • An understand of technologies - terminal services, virtualisation, networking

  • Ideally technical trained, IT degree or equivalent
