Infrastructure Team Lead / Manager - Fareham
£35,000 - £38,000 + Extensive Benefits package!

This role will be key to defining and driving exciting technical and cultural/behavioural changes to ensure Operational Excellence. It is essential that you have experience of managing day to day IT Infrastructure operations. Working alongside the Operations Manager you will need to be innovative and have the energy and motivation to lead these changes from the front.

We're looking for someone who is an all rounder' skilled in areas such as service management, end user computing, mobile device management, server operating systems, storage area networks, virtualisation technologies, hosting and cloud services, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and networking technologies.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, a problem solver, committed to the customer, to continuous learning, good interpersonal skills & high personal standards.

Main Responsibilities;
• Lead and manage a team deployed across projects, platforms or infrastructure support and maintenance activities.
• Bringing into service, operating, supporting, performance monitoring, continually improving and decommissioning Infrastructure services (SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS), products and platforms to serve a variety of user needs.
• For the services, products and platforms supported:
- Manage incidents, requests, changes and problems
- Manage the configuration, availability, capacity, performance and cost
- Drive continuous improvement activities
• Working with tools and technologies within the Technology Roadmap.
• Active participation in wider communities of practice, identifying good practices we can adopt and sharing our experiences.
• Sharing knowledge of tools and techniques, and collaborating to improve the capability of the team.
• Maintain consistency between development and production environments.
• Challenge existing processes to build agile and flexible platforms, services and products.

Your primary focus will be to lead and manage the day to day performance of the team ensuring that Key Performance Indicators are met, resolving customer escalations, managing 3rd party relationships, Major Incident and Change Management.
