Responsible and accountable for continuous improvement efficiencies across the businesses operations, products, systems, and processes. The role will work with the senior management team to develop and implement a continuous improvement strategy that is aligned to the wider workforce and suited to the FMCG environment.

The role will be responsible for the successful management and implementation of continuous improvement projects and initiatives across the business and will build upon successful working relationships and cross-functional working.


Efficiency and effectiveness improvement
Stakeholder satisfaction with quality, timeliness, and appropriateness of change
Contribution to the development of the CPS strategy, through proposition development and thought leadership
Engage with departments, support, facilitate and build a programme of initiatives that drives outcomes
Monitor and ensure CPS implementations are sustained through ways of working within the business
Measurable and sustainability of improvements
Identify bottlenecks in both operations and enterprise scenarios
Support quality improvement through repetitive complaint root cause analysis and prevent reoccurrence
Kamishibai system set up and improvements
OEE monitoring
TPM continuation
Financial justification of improvements through CPS definitions
Budgeting process support


A business improvements qualification/lean qualification

An in depth understanding of lean tools
Ability to create training material aligned to CPS modules
Ability to articulate the training material across the group
VSM knowledge
A3 or Systematic Problem Solving approach / DMIAC experience
Time in Motion Studies
Kamishibai auditing process experience
Creation of SOP's
Auditing of process's/procedures
Systematic Problem Solving tools (Cause and effect, 5 why, Gap analysis)

Additional desirable experience:
FMCG/Automotive experience
