Sable & Proctor are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of a nationally recognised client who have circa 30 years' experience in developing and supplying goods in to care and medical supplies market.

We are now looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.

·Ensuring all invoices and purchase orders are matched in a timely manner to ensure that suppliers are paid on time
·Be responsible for managing your allotted supplier accounts with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve any queries/disputes
·Conduct monthly statement reconciliations
·Provide cover for the accounts payable shared mailbox on a rota basis and take incoming calls received via the accounts payable hunt line
·Review invoice listings and ageing reports to ensure any aged held items are progressed in a timely manner
·Ad-hoc accounting admin duties as and when required
·Bank Reconciliation on ASC
·Petty Cash Reconciliation
·Cash and Barclaycard expense coding and inputting
·Cash expenses payments via HSBC BACS
·Supplier payments via HSBC BACS
·Intrastat and EC Sales Returns
·VAT Returns
·CIS Sub-Contractor deductions and payments
·Strong accounts experience
·Accurate data entry skills
·Ability to work under own initiative
·Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
·Excellent organisation skills
·Ability to multi task and stay calm under pressure
·Keen eye for detail
·Experience of Microsoft Office. With particular reference to Excel
