Purchase Ledger Clerk / Southport/ Temporary - Permanent (on-going) / £18,000 - £21,000/ Immediate start available!

NC Associates are currently looking to recruit an experienced and immediately available Purchase ledger Clerk to join our client who are a growing business based in Southport. This is a temporary to permanent position working full time Monday to Friday 9-5. You will be joining this friendly and fast paced Finance team where you will be supporting Purchase ledger.

Key Duties

  • Working as part of this close knit team you will be managing the purchase ledger and processing invoices
  • Setting up new suppliers on the system
  • Coding, batching and matching invoices
  • Processing invoices including monthly reconciliations of supplier statements
  • You will be the main point of contact for any queries liaising with suppliers
  • Petty cash
  • Other ad hoc duties

Essential Experience Required

  • Previous purchase ledger / accounts experience required
  • AAT Level 4 Qualified is ideal but not essential
  • Experience handling multi-currency invoices is desirable
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
