Experienced Accounts Assistant required to join a leading Crawley based technology business on an ongoing temporary assignment As the Accounts Assistant, the role will be working within a small team that takes responsibility for accounting for the purchase ledger and sales ledger, assisting the accounts supervisor with the production of accounts and running the payroll for the business. Successful candidates must be able to manage their own day as well as be an active team player, available on 1 weeks’ notice or less.

Accounts Assistant duties include:

  • Making calculations on a monthly basis (using Sage Payroll)
  • Month-end and year-end preparations
  • Maintaining information stored on the accounting system
  • Adhoc duties as required

You must have:

  • Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger experience
  • Exposure to processing Payroll and Sage Accounts
  • Confidence when liaising with finance and non finance staff
