Trueology is an established marketing insight company providing imaginative and results-driven marketing solutions to a variety of charity, membership and commercial clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Data Insight Analyst to join our team at our office in Maisemore, Gloucestershire.

As a Data Insight Analyst you will be part of our Data & Insight team and will provide reporting, insight and business intelligence to our clients. The ability to add value to our clients marketing effectiveness is a fundamental part of what we do. You will be required to interpret results and trends from client data using a variety of software including Excel, Tableau and PowerBI and to present findings in meaningful and impactful ways.

Working in conjunction with the Client Services team, this position will be integral to the high standard of account management provided to our clients. As such the role will include a client facing element so the right candidate will need to have experience of and confidence in this. Our approach is consultative, presenting intelligence clients in a clear and consice way, integrating any relevant market and industry data into the findings.

Key Responsibilities in the role will include but will not be limited to;

Undertake data engineering and preparation
Create intelligent and informative written and visual reports or dashboards
Create customer segmentations and models
Research and understand brands in the industry to demonstrate awareness
As part of the client account team, communicate and meet with clients to deliver and present reports

This role is suited to an individual with an analytic mind-set and excellent attention to detail. A willingness to learn on the job and develop related skills is essential. The role will also be required to take responsibility for a client’s reporting requirements along with taking the initiative to meet and exceed expectations.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following key skills:

Advanced Microsoft Office user, in particular Excel andPowerPoint
At least one years experience in a similar role or a qualification in a STEM subject at A level or beyond
Ideally the experience or ability to learn SQL or SQL server
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and creative mind-set
Attention to detail
Team mentality and an interest in marketing
Ability to self-manage prioritise and meet deadlines
