Our client is a children’s charity passionate about building a brighter future for young people by harnessing the power of sport to enhance wellbeing, build leadership and raise achievement. They are committed to growing their existing research and insight capacity and capability and are currently recruiting for a Research & Insight Manager to join their existing evaluation and insight specialists and data analysts.

As Research & Insight Manager, they are looking for a research professional to capitalise on their research and insight activities and ensure their position as the most respected and trusted source of evidence on the power of sport, PE and physical activity on wellbeing, achievement and life chances.

You will manage and oversee the development of our research and insight work to underpin our clients organisational strategy, thought leadership, innovation, delivery, fundraising and wider influencing priorities. This will involve creating frameworks, systems and processes to improve the efficiency, quality and consistency of their work; and the development of data analysis tools and outputs to help them effectively prioritise and target resources.

They want someone to join them with the energy and vision to build relationships with universities and research councils, other research and delivery partners, as well as identify and pursue opportunities to generate income through our clients evidence, research and insight capabilities. In addition to helping develop a high performing team you will bring expertise and experience in health, wellbeing or sport research, or social science more broadly.

Your technical abilities will be complemented by strong people management, with experience of leading and managing a multi-disciplinary research, evaluation, data and insight team. You will have used primary and secondary research methodologies for conducting, and/or commissioning and managing evaluations as well as involved in the development of logic models and research briefs. Expert at sourcing, analysing and summarising data and research, you are adept at presenting findings to diverse audiences. You ideally have experience of SNAP survey software or similar.

If you have the experience and expertise to ensure our client continues to impact positively on the lives of young people, please click "Apply for this job" and complete the application.

Our client positively welcomes and seeks to ensure they achieve diversity in their workforce and that all job applicants and employees receive equal and fair treatment.
