Prospero teaching are working alongside a vibrant and exciting school based on the Barnet who would like to interview and appoint a Head of Physics to join the team starting September 2018.

We are working alongside the Head at the school who is interested in seeing CV's initially of strong Physics Teachers, ideally someone dynamic, highly motivated and inspirational graduate to teach Physics throughout the School.

The role could suit someone who wishes to progress from a teaching role to Head of Physics, training and support will be provided.

The Physics department enjoys a national reputation for excellence and achieves exceptional outcomes in public examinations. Large numbers of the School's students progress from A-level to Physics and related courses, such as Engineering, at leading universities. The successful applicant will have a strong academic background and will demonstrate that he or she has an understanding of how to inspire very able boys within and beyond the classroom.
The schools most recent Ofsted Inspection was graded as Outstanding which means they are interested in teachers who are able to raise attainment.

There are opportunities to teach Science to A level. You will be joining a successful science team who offer great support.

To be considered you must meet the following criteria:

*Qualified Teacher Status,
*The ability to motivate pupils to achieve excellent examination results,
*Excellent classroom management skills
*Excellent organisational and ICT skills
*The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
*You are a fully qualified Physics teacher (PGCE,QTS,B'ED etc).
* You can provide 2 teaching references within the last 2 years.
* You hold the right to work in the UK.
* You have a DBS or are willing to complete one.
* You have passion for Education.
* An innovator with drive and determination
