Application Support Manager Summary

My client is currently recruiting for an Application Support Manager on a permanent basis in Knutsford. The Application Support Manager will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach and management of ITIL Service Management functions & processes across multiple product areas by supporting critical applications.

Application Support Manager Responsibilities:

* Investigation of long standing issues on the Problem Backlog.
* Support Service Management and business stakeholders in addressing live service issues.
* Participate in all activities related to the operations of the company's production applications related to a number of related product areas.
* Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Management, Service / Application Introduction, Application Continuity Management, Availability Management, Capacity Management, Application / Service Level Management, Demand Management, Continuous Application Improvement Planning
* Support the planning and deployment of Product changes for each application release.
* Contribute service improvement ideas for products within scope

Application Support Manager Essential experience:

* Understanding customer needs and priorities to providing quality services.
* Experience in creative problem solving and successfully executing tasks.
* Experience in explaining, advocating and expressing facts and ideas in a variety of settings both orally and in writing.
* End-to-end software development lifecycle
