My global household name client – is seeking a customer focused Team Lead with excellent 1st / 2nd line desktop support within an enterprise environment for its London based European HQ.

The team supports the European user base and the environment is MS Windows as the core OS for desktops, laptops and thin clients, integrated with Active Directory and Microsoft Windows Servers. The team also supports a small Apple Mac environment running OS X on Apple Mac Pros.

• 1st and 2nd line IT support services to the internal business, aligned to ITIL best practice
• coordinate support resources
• promote knowledge share and upskilling
• collaboration with the Service Transition function
• focus on continual service improvement

• Line management of L1 and L2 support teams
• Proactive Incident resolution within SLAs
• Provide technical leadership
• Utilise escalation procedures for Incident management
• Create, maintain and review knowledge articles shared across IT
• Maintain security awareness

• Proven 1st/2nd line support experience within an enterprise environment
• Windows 7 and 10 enterprise & MAC OSX and Office Suites
• Microsoft Outlook & Exchange
• SAP, LANDesk V10, OSX server,
• Intermediate networking skills (TCP/IP, basic understanding of network topology )
• Group Policy
• Microsoft certification such as Win7/Win10 MCP MCITP, MCTS
• Apple certifications for OSX such as ACSP ACTC
• ITIL Service Management Foundation
• Ability to lead a team
• Exceptional customer service and support focus
• Sound understanding of ITIL best practices
• Proven commitment to troubleshooting, diagnostics and root cause analysis
• Ability to foster and maintain cooperation and communication across business functions
• Understanding of Project Management, PMO functions and Service Transition
