Vision for Education are seeking to recruit a level 3 teaching assistant to work in a large primary school located in Middleton. This 2 form entry school based in Middleton are seeking to appoint a passionate and caring teaching assistant who would love to work with Nursery and Reception age children in a highly supportive and nurturing setting.

The successful teaching assistant will be covering a longer term sickness of an existing member of staff, but for the right teaching assistant, this position could become permanent. This school brings children from varying demographic, religious and cultural backgrounds together into a vibrant and energetic setting. No day will be the same and you will be joining a team of highly skilled, passionate and humorous educators.

The successful candidate will:

* Be an outstanding teaching assistant or on the path to becoming one

* Have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour

* Have the ability to work with individual and small groups of children

* Share the ethos and values of the school community

* Have experience in an EYFS setting

* Be able to work as part of a team and foster positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents and governors.

To be considered for this position you must:

* Have experience working within a primary education setting
* Have a relevant teaching assistant qualification
* Have a passion for working with children
