2238 - Digital Marketing Executive – Salisbury - 6 month maternity cover contract - up to £27K pro

An innovative and enthusiastic company at the forefront of their industry are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to support the Marketing team in the delivery of the Marketing strategy to support our clients overall 5 year plan.
Carry out day to day digital marketing activities aimed at driving brand growth and profitability. Support the production of exceptional quality marketing, materials, products and communications within the given timescales and budgets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and implement essential updates across all websites
• Work with external website developer to ensure all website updates are delivered on time, fully tested across all browsers and on brief
• Create optimised and engaging content including regular news items and Connection articles, in line with PR and advertising activity
• Working closely with our clients digital agency, devise strategies to drive online traffic to the website through organic and paid search campaigns
• Manage and maintain translated sites, working with distributors to add further languages to ensure we have localised content in all key markets
• Extend use of customer reviews and question and answer tool across entire product catalogue and work with suppliers and distributors to make them available in all website languages
• Develop and monitor E-commerce platform to drive online sales

• Develop and manage our clients email marketing platform, creating an engaging calendar of content targeted at different customer groups, driving loyalty and repurchase
• Develop digital issue of ‘Connection’, our clients monthly customer email
• Drive growth of customer database and new customers by promoting sign up’s through website, social and other online channels
• Author of our clients monthly trade facing email ‘n-Bulletin’ to all trade partners
• Support GDPR compliance in data handling and customer targeting
• Inform CRM Implementation Strategy

Social Media
• To deliver and monitor a strong calendar of engaging content across their social media platforms, in line with social strategy, driving engagement and growth across all markets
• Develop and roll out social/online guidelines for distributors ensuring brand values and execution are truly global and consistent across all online and social channels
• Social Media contractor
• Provide excellent community management and customer service through social channels
• Enhance social activity through paid advertising

Digital Assets
• Maintain online asset management portal, ensuring all logos, guidelines, images, launch information and software updates are up to date
• Ensure all assets are fully searchable through key wording and tagging
• Manage different user types, ensuring all trade partners and press have access to what they need easily and quickly

Monitoring & Reporting
• Drive key business objectives with a monthly digital KPI report, analysing the effectiveness of our website, social media, email, paid advertising and e-commerce activity
• Review new technologies, keeping our client at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
• Monitor competitor social media, websites and e-marketing to promote best practise
• Monitor usability and be able to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
• Monitor retailer and distributor websites and other online channels to ensure the brand is represented correctly and consistently in all markets
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with other departments and suppliers
• A creative thinker with excellent copywriting skills essential
• Well organised and able to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Able to communicate on all levels
• Degree in digital marketing or a related field
• Experience in similar level position in related industry
• Developing and managing external relationships with suppliers
• Experience in Drupal and SagePay preferable, with working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience in Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook Ad Manager and Social Media analytics and scheduling tools
• Experience managing SEO, PPC, email, social media, display and remarketing campaigns
• Experience managing and working with ESP or CRM systems
• Experience with budgets
• Experience in e-commerce integration
• Experience with the new GDPR compliance regulations
• Basic Photoshop skills essential, additional Adobe suite skills would be an advantage
• New media channel marketing
