Position: Quality Administrator

Location: Wakefield

Duration: Permanent

Hours of work: Mon- Thu: 7 am – 4 pm, Fri 7 am - 12:00 noon.

Salary: circa £18k - £20k per annum

E3 are currently working with a well-established engineering company based in Wakefield who are looking to recruit a Quality Administrator.

The job duties would be as follows:

* Job Cards preparation.
* Control the registration, issue and retention of quality documents including procedures, drawings, forms, specifications etc.
* Material approval based on verification of supplier documentation.
* Control the registration, issue and retention of Health, Safety and Environmental documents including procedures and risk assessments etc.
* Supplier/ subcontractor ISO certification record updates.
* Assist with improvements to procedures, equipment, operating methods etc.
* Support quality department with measuring equipment calibration activities.
* Work to provide results in a timely manner in accordance with planned dates.
* General office/administration duties.

Key Attributes:

* Proven background in document administration.
* Experience and knowledge surrounding quality assurance.
* Experience within heavy engineering (desirable).
* Must be highly computer literate.
* Practical application of clerical skills.
* Positive attitude towards safety & quality.
* Must have the ability to plan and organise.
* Must demonstrate a proactive and motivated attitude.
