McDiarmid Whitmore are working on behalf of one of the fastest growing SaaS providers of Customer Service and ITSM software in the UK market who are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to join their team.

The Pre-Sales Engineer will act as the technical bridge between the Sales Team and clients representing all aspects of how products solve specific customer challenges. You will need excellent Project Management skills and be familiar with managing multiple customer projects at once. You will perform technical presentations, and Scoping/Discovery sessions onsite with customers.

The Pre-Sales Engineer will be required to guide and advise accounts by becoming a strategic partner with them who has an in-depth knowledge of their business needs, challenges and visions. You will work closely with the sales team and will own multiple active customer opportunity projects at any one time.

The ideal candidate will be:

- An excellent sales engineer with an aptitude for problem solving
- Highly driven with a strong sense of urgency
- Equipped with at least 3 years' experience in a technical role within a software development organisation
- Experienced in SaaS and working with a sales team
- Well versed in customer service solutions or CRM
- Qualified to Degree level
