Who will I be working with?

Marine Holiday Park is an award-winning 4-star family orientated holiday park housing 515 caravans with superb facilities, and has benefited from a £2.5 million investment on brand new caravans in 2017. The Hire Fleet includes 100 caravans across five categories of Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Disabled caravans, plus Lodges.

What will this role of Swimming Pool Manager (Lifeguard) entail?

As the Swimming Pool Manager, you will first and foremost ensure the safety of all visitors to the pool following good practice, and in line with current Health and Safety procedures. You’ll work as part of a team of Lifeguards adhering to the company’s standard and emergency operating procedures, whilst taking the lead on tasks such as scheduling the rota and managing the pool facility. You’ll be responsible for ensuring both the pool area and the children’s play area are kept clean and hazard free at all times, and also providing a friendly and informative customer service.

What will I need to be considered for this Swimming Pool Manager (Lifeguard) vacancy?

* Proven lifeguarding experience, with a valid Pool Plant Operations qualification
* High level of focus and concentration
* Strong professional communication skills, with an approachable and friendly demeanor
* Highly motivated, driven, and an effective team player with a can-do attitude
* A flexible approach to working patterns, including short notice cover i.e. staff sickness

Salary: £18,000

Hours of Work: Full time hours, on a rota working 5 days out of 7 including weekend work, which is essential. Due to the nature of the industry, working hours will be reduced during winter months and annual leave will not be authorised during the busy summer months.

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Rhyl (Denbighshire, North Wales). Easily accessible, within 5 minutes of the A55.
