Are you passionate about accounts and finance?

We have a fantastic opportunity for an accounts assistant to join a friendly and close knit team to work in Keighley area and looking to further their career

Duties will include:
• Manage the process of purchase invoices, matching invoices with delivery notes, price checking against PO’s updating stock values in reflection to current price.
• Inputting sales onto the ledger, matching up the signed POD’s to the invoices, reconciling the sales ledger to the invoicing system.
• Sending out statements, chasing overdue debts, dealing with adhoc accounting emails.
• Manage cash books and post receipts / payments and reconciliation of Bank Statements
• Assisting with the weekly wages, Calculating agency hours on time sheets, calculating piece rate bonus.
• Once payroll is fully functioning run weekly payroll / process all employees’ timesheets.

To be successful for this role you will ideally have the following:
• At least 2 years’ experience within a similar role
• Good accounting knowledge, ideally using SAGE 50
• Good attention to detail
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Able to communicate with people at all levels
• Friendly, upbeat and confident nature
