Summary of main responsibilities:

This position is responsible for qualifying, processing and distributing inbound leads to the sales teams. The Lead representative will engage with prospective clients to understand their need and collate the information from them to assign the lead to the appropriate sales channel for follow up.

Principle accountabilities:

•Deliver against KPI’s set by e-Commerce Team Leader
•Fielding inbound calls and emails from prospective customers generated from company websites, direct mail, events, trade shows, Sales Team and Marketing
•Qualify inbound enquiries by engaging with the prospective client and giving a quality score to the lead.
•Research and qualify new business opportunities in accordance with approved guidelines
•Assign leads to the appropriate sales channel using sales assignment tools. in line with appropriate lead workflow
•Warm phone transfer prospective clients to appropriate sales reps for follow up
•Update and monitor client and prospective client information in internal systems. Maintain database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
•Meet deadlines, to ensure agreed delivery deadlines are met in line with business priorities
•Acts as a team player with a can-do attitude – Work closely with wider team to build and maintain effective working relationships
•Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes as appropriate
•Maintain a quality service by following organisation standards.
•Maintain product knowledge by working closely with all departments; reviewing publications etc.
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
•Undertakes such other duties as may from time to time be required to ensure the effective and efficient operation of Babington Group.
•Perform a consultative process that identifies and meets the need of the prospect

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

•Previous experience of managing telephony based sales queries
•Demonstrable experience of managing multiple tasks and activities, ensuring quality of service is consistently maintained
•Proven experience of completion of administration tasks to a high standard
•Be IT literate, ideally with experience of using MS Office Suite
