An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Sales Ledger Clerk to work on a permanent basis for our client SHB Vehicle Hire, a market leading national vehicle fleet management company. This position will be based at their Romsey depot.

• The main duties of this role will be to ensure all monies received are processed accurately onto the sales ledger to ensure that the sales ledger is as up to date as possible for Credit Control.

Essential Skills include
• To update the receipts and payments cashbooks on a daily basis
• To ensure that the bank reconciliation is carried out on a daily basis
• To accurately allocate all receipts and resolve any unallocated payment issues
To write off any bad debts as authorised
• To process monthly payment and receipt sundry journals
• To liaise with various branches and internal departments to resolve outstanding queries as necessary.
• Carrying out various adhoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
• Previous experience within accounts
• Exceptional numerical skills
• Be able to deal with accounts in high volume
• Business standard IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Advanced Excel
