We are looking for an IT procurement Manager to join our IT team in geographical location Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
The role requires a dynamic, motivated and confident individual to lead the transformation of IT purchasing and procurement services for Skanska UK PLC. The key objectives are to deliver an efficient, lean and compliant service portfolio whilst striving for both cost savings and optimisation. You will ensure value for money is obtained across our companies external IT spend, whilst looking to deliver tangible, real cost savings to bottom line The individual will be a strong leader and relationship manager for both internal and external stakeholders.

* Line Management for the IT Purchasing Administrators and all their activities

* Manage all IT procurement activities which fall outside of corporate procurement services

* Manage and plan the IT maintenance schedule and IT spend portfolio

* Monitor and document I&O spend against annual budget lines

* Develop strategic budget management

* Expand and develop a report portfolio for senior management and senior stakeholders

* Develop lean and cost effective purchasing strategies (E-procurement)

* Manage and monitor key vendor relationships

* Evaluate potential service providers

* Maintain catalogue of preferred Vendors for IT products and services

* Standardise service delivery of IT purchasing

* Key contract management (Updates, amendments, review)

* Manage and monitor supplier stock ‘Float’

You'll have

* Direct work experience in a contract management or purchasing and procurement capacity
* Strong familiarity and technical competence with asset management software and/or inventory-tracking systems
* Direct work experience in a license management capacity

* Knowledge of contract, licensing, and data privacy regulations/laws and best practice

* Ideally, general knowledge of accounting, finance and logistics

* Budgeting, inventory, and cost-management skills
