We are currently recruiting for an established, multi service law firm with several offices situated across the East Midlands.

Due to continued success and growth, they are searching for a Qualified Solicitor to join their existing Private Client team.

Our client is looking for confident and experienced client facing role, with key responsibilities including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate administration as well as Grant of Representation and IHT Accounts. Additional client advice may be required on trust-creation and administration, Inheritance Tax advice as well as other legal queries as required.

Due to continued success and growth, they are searching for a Qualified Solicitor to join their existing Private Client team.

◾3+ years’ experience +
◾Qualified Solicitor status
◾Ability to thrive under pressure and actively manage own workloads
◾Excellent internal communication and IT skills
◾Ability to draft documentation with a meticulous attention to detail
◾Outstanding people skills with a positive ‘can-do will-do’ attitude
◾Strong interpersonal skills
◾Exceptional problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:
◾Preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
◾Deal with estate administration to include preparation of papers to apply for Grant of Representation and IHT accounts using the provided software package (Troika)
◾Capable of advising on trusts-creation and administration
◾Ability to advise on Capital taxation especially Inheritance Tax
◾Dealing with sundry other legal queries as required e.g. partnership matters and agreements
◾Be prepared to travel as required to clients and our other offices
◾Following up new leads
◾Contributing to the marketing of the Probate Services team
