Regulatory Services Manager - Insurance

Location – Central London

Salary - £70,000

High calibre Regulatory Services Manager is required for large international insurance firm based at their London head office. You will be responsible for overseeing the company’s relationship with its regulators, regulatory reporting, notifications and maintaining relevant documentation relating to areas such as Senior Insurance Managers’ regimes and all compliance online training programmes.

Key Responsibilities

* Regulatory liaison – to support the overall process of regulatory liaison. This will include monitoring regulatory communications, tracking actions, overseeing the meeting and briefing schedule, preparing briefing packs.
* Approved Persons’ and Senior Insurance Managers’ regimes – to collate information and draft applications under these regimes and maintain associated documentation such as the Governance Map, Scope of Responsibilities Forms, etc.
* Training –maintain the Compliance training regime. This may include reviewing modules, working with third parties to build the modules, liaising with translation service providers, chasing overdue training and running reports on training completion rates.
* Regulatory returns and notifications – to collate and critically review regulatory returns such as the RMAR. To draft regulatory notifications and ensure these are filed in a timely manner.
* Compliance logs – to support the Compliance Advice Managers by maintaining Compliance logs, such as those for gifts and entertainment, conflicts of interest, etc.
* Intranet – to support the wider Compliance team by running reports on intranet content which requires updating and reporting on out of date content.
* Procedures – to maintain and regularly refresh procedures relating to regulatory services.
* To provide general assistance and ongoing support to the Head of Compliance, Deputy Head of Compliance and the rest of the Advice and Regulatory Services team.

Qualifications and Experience

* Graduate/ACII/other relevant professional qualification or experience in a Compliance Function
* Significant General Insurance experience
* Experience of dealing with the regulators and filing returns/making notifications. Working knowledge of FCA / PRA and ideally of GABRIEL and Connect systems.
