An existing opportunity has arisen to join a growing company who are looking for an experienced Project Manager in the retail and design field. The Project Manager will take an agreed design or brief from concept to reality, manage the project though the critical process to completion ensuring delivery of projects within budget and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Unless a budget is specified, provide a range of production options in terms of cost
* Accurately cost projects using a formalised costing system and the raising of internal works orders and external purchase orders
* Responsibility for conversion to an Order Acknowledgement when order is confirmed
* To implement briefing meetings to agree processing responsibilities with each team and other stakeholders at the outset of each project
* To provide timely information and feedback related to costings and any stages of the production process with the aid of an instant and accessible cost analysis of ongoing projects
* To communicate project progress to the Head of Projects or directly to client if previously agreed
* To effectively manage supply resources to produce and deliver high quality promotional products in budget and on time
* To manage ongoing workload, informing all relevant parties of any delays or difficulties which may adversely affect the delivery, quality or cost of the project
* To accurately maintain a project file, ensuring that each file is comprehensive with all correspondence, photographic evidence, specifications and reference
* To manage, maintain and build up working relationships with new and existing clients
* To ensure all work is quality checked and accurate before handover to the client
* Leadership – communicates and promotes the business vision and decisions through leading by example
* Run sites to completion of project

Skills and experience required:

* Excellent PC literacy essential with knowledge of design programmes an advantage
* Must have project manager experience in retail
* Must have full site experience
* Must have full retail shop fit experience
* Ideally 5-10 years’ experience in similar roles
* Proven customer service and project management experience
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Hands on approach to run a site
* Hold a full UK driving licence (not more than 3 points)
* Good understanding of manufacturing and construction
* Driven to achieve personal goals and demonstrates initiative, energy and tenacity to resolve problems and achieve goals in line with business objectives
* Planning and organisation – ensures objectives are clarified, defined and that realistic action plans are developed and implemented
* Profitability – contributes to Company’s profitability by thinking about their actions in line with costs, budgets and financial targets
* Personal growth – takes full responsibility to develop own operational experience and is considered competent in area of expertise

Salary and benefits:

* £38,000 - £42,000
* Pension
