COVER SUPERVISOR We are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff, setting work previously prepared by the teacher under the supervisory arrangements established by the school, and oversee completion of that work in an environment conducive to learning. The successful candidate will need to work closely with teaching staff and departments to provide consistent and effective support in line with the requirements of this exciting and responsible role, which may also suit recently qualified graduates or someone looking for a route into teaching. This is a fixed term position for 24 hours per week (to be worked 9am to 3.30pm over 4 days – Tuesday to Friday - with a daily 30-minute unpaid break). It is term-time only, until July 2019 in the first instance, and will be paid on Local Pay Structure, Single Status Grade 4/5 starting on point 8 = £16,120 gross per annum (pro-rata as part-time and term-time, pay award pending).
