Consult Search & Selection are working in partnership with a highly-innovative manufacturer of medical and surgical products with their own UK based R&D department. Due to consistent growth and product innovations they are now looking to add a new line of management to their structure and recruit a Regional Sales Manager for the North of the UK.

Reporting line: National Sales Manager

The major aim is to develop, manage and grow a high-performance team of surgical sales representatives to implement and deliver on key growth strategies in the North UK region.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage and lead a team of multi-disciplinary surgical representatives to drive sales within the south UK
- Provide exceptional commercial knowledge to deliver on regional strategy growth plans
- Development and implementation of sales training practices
- Responsible for the UK Business plan and implementation of the regional strategy combined with delivering on team goals set by the wider organisation
- Building, growing and recruiting a high-performance sales team

The successful candidate will be provided with an exceptional base salary and bonus package. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 6-8 Surgical Territory Managers with further scope for growth.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

- Previous successful experience managing a surgical sales team within Medical Devices
- Strong knowledge of general surgery and the sales process within the NHS and private markets
- Excellent commercial acumen
- Proven ability to develop, implement and deliver on regional strategic growth plans
