Relief Support Worker

Creative Support is a non profit organisation which provides high quality person centred social care services for people with learning disabilities, mental health and other needs. Our supported living service in Bolton provides person centred support to adults with Mental Health concerns and Drug and Alcohol issues
We are seeking calm, resourceful and energetic individuals who are well motivated, hardworking and who are looking to join our friendly, dedicated teams. You will provide person centred care and support to the individuals we support in all aspects of every day life and to facilitate activities. You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support. You must be able to follow agreed support plans and to work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
The relief position enables you the opportunity to work alongside, and as an integral part of, our structured and hardworking teams across all projects within the Bolton services. Although there is also the necessity to lone work with service users at the Mental Health Projects.
This will enable you to develop a diverse range of experiences and knowledge whilst maintaining flexible working patterns to suit your circumstances. You will work closely with our local managers to book shifts either in advance, planned around your availability as well as being offered shifts on an ad-hoc basis.
You must be willing to actively embrace all aspects of the role including support with and domestic tasks as well as promote and encourage healthy lifestyles and opportunities to participate in activities to develop daily living skills. Prior experience in this field of work is essential.
