In June 2017, Ruislip High School secured its best set of external examination results as 76% of students attained 9-4 grades in both English and Mathematics. For the key national accountability measures, 51% of students attained 9-5 grades in both English and Mathematics. Twelve students attained 7 or more A*- A/9 – 7 grades, 30 students attained 5 or more A* - A/9 – 7 grades and two students attained grades 9 in both English and Mathematics.

The results in English Language and Literature were very strong with 9 – 4 percentages of 82% for each subject, and 9 – 5 percentages of 68% and 65% respectively. In addition Mathematics remains consistently high with 80% of students attaining grade 4 or higher, and 56% of students attaining at least a grade 5.

Ruislip High School's A-level results are the best to date particularly in the number of top grades attained. Staff are delighted that nearly all students attained the grades necessary to gain places at their chosen university. Over a quarter of the students who applied to higher education secured a place at a Russell Group university. Two Year 13 students met the entry requirements of their conditional offers to read Natural Sciences and Geography respectively at the University of Cambridge. In addition, three other students from the small cohort of 58 students attained all A-A* grades.
