Internal Communications Officer
Internal Communication Officer for a contract position in the Filton area of Bristol.
The jobholder will co-ordinate and deliver Communication Department activities in Filton, acting as a single point of contact for site-related internal communication with responsibility for specific topic areas Engineering, Facility Management and Filton Manufacturing facility.
The jobholder will implement in the UK's internal communications strategy ensuring alignment to the client's global corporate communications objectives and the UK's internal communication needs.
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders (Corporate Communications, specifically Internal Communications, Filton and Broughton Site Strategy Groups, Clients in the UK Communications Dept senior managers etc) to ensure internal communications in Filton are aligned with and in support of corporate objectives.
Manage and deliver internal communication programmes and activities to promote common purpose, enhance senior team visibility, seek employee involvement/feedback and drive cultural change aligned to the clients Values programme.
The jobholder will contribute to the delivery of a high standard internal communications service in Filton.
In partnership with other team members, the jobholder will oversee the day-to-day tasking of Communication Department interns.
The jobholder will ensure Communications Department activities in Filton are aligned to Corporate Communications objectives and site priorities.
The jobholder will provide support to transnational colleagues and strive to make a useful contribution to global strategies and campaigns at every opportunity.
The individual will need to have at least three years' experience working in an internal corporate communication environment preferably as part of a global team and an industry recognised qualification and/or more than 5 years on-the-job experience
