Support Engineer (UNIX OO Java C# C++). Would you like to be utilising your Support Engineering skills and knowledge of trading infrastructure within a relaxed and collaborative work environment? Successful Quantitative trading firm is seeking a Support Engineer to work across operational and project orientated work, troubleshooting complex problems (such as broker issues, network, code and connectivity issues) and delivering innovative solutions. You will be working with the trading desks and other technology groups across the company to understand and react to issues as they arise during the trading day.
With fantastic offices based in the city, the company offer a fun work environment and plenty of opportunities to attend appropriate classes and conferences, allowing you to enhance your skills.
- Strong software development skills in any OO programming language (Java, C#, C++, Python)
- Good debugging and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience in a trading environment
- UNIX / Linux - good command line experience
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree educated
