Full Time

London Learning Consortium is a Community Interest Company that works for the benefit of communities and businesses across London, providing a range of services to members and funders within the learning and skills sector.

Through our entrepreneurial approach and our proactive partnerships, we have gained an excellent reputation within the learning and skills sector and are well positioned to make the most of upcoming opportunities. We are currently moving ahead with acquisitions which will grow our portfolio and geographical reach, and we are committed to ongoing innovation.

With sound financial controls in place, combined with an ambitious board and leadership team, this is a great opportunity for a forward-thinking Director of Finance to join us and play a key role in our growth. This is a strategic post, working with the CEO and Board, to shape the future direction and development of the organisation, while ensuring its ongoing financial sustainability.

There is flexibility to appoint on a full time or part time basis; the former would include strategic oversight across a wide remit of business support services, while the latter would focus more closely on financial leadership. Both would have a high level of influence and visibility across the organisation.

Our ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a high level of commercial acumen and strategic planning skills. You will have a track record of robust financial control within a results-driven organisation, ideally within the education or third sectors, along with high level analytical and communication skills. Key to the role is the ability to identify, assess and advise on new business opportunities and the drive to make a positive impact on our future progress.
