My client based in Kidderminster, are a long established and successful British Company whose business is the design, manufacture and machining of steel forgings, supplying a worldwide customer base.

My client is seeking to recruit multi skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their production team in Kidderminster maintaining advanced Forging equipment.

The ideal candidates will be time-served or be a formally trained mechanical or electrical engineer, having undertaken a recognised apprenticeship and/or possess formal mechanical/electrical craft engineering training.

In addition to carrying out Preventative Maintenance Schedules, the successful candidate will also respond to machine breakdowns when required, using their technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities to reach and implement the quickest solution. You will also carry out some project work, including continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that the facility operates at maximum efficiency.

Working knowledge of hydraulics &/or induction heating would be advantageous together with truck & crane licences.

You will have a proven track record in a maintenance engineering environment across a variety of heavy and light machinery including hydraulics, pneumatics industrial electrics, plc`s and mechanical fitting and therefore require a detailed working knowledge of the principles of machinery. Knowledge of Kuka robotic programming would be an advantage. In addition, you will possess a problem solving can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously as well within a team environment
