Apprentice Service Engineer, Haywards Heath, £200 Per week
Reporting to the Servicing Manager and working within a team of Service Engineers. As the successful candidate you will be fully trained on all aspects of the job and our products, services and systems, including: Fault diagnosis and fixing. Planned maintenance of equipment in order to ensure optimum performance. Operating within the rules and guidelines covering all relevant aspects of Health and Safety at Work. Assist with install of machines at customer sites. Assist with machine upgrades.
Extensive Product Training to gain the knowledge and skills required to repair and maintain our product range.
Once fully trained, there willbee an opportunity to travel both across the UK
Training to be Provided:
Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations. Diploma L2 in Engineering or Functional Skills (Level 1) in Math, English. Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR).
Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Organisational skills with an efficient and systematic approach Attention to detail Ability to work on own initiative Computer literate An understanding of electrical systems and how they work An understanding of mechanics and working with tools Personal Qualities E.g. friendly, polite, reliable. Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship, and assuming good performance, support will be provided to apply for a permanent position with the company. All previous Apprentices have successfully secured employment with us upon completing their Apprenticeship.

The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
The person applying will need to be flexible regarding the working hours as overtime/weekend work may be required.
