A fantastic position has arisen for an Associate Specialist Doctor to join a highly respectable Hospital based in Norfolk.
The hospital offers high quality care for adolescents and young adults, aged 12 and upwards who have complex needs. They provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for individuals with acute mental illness and developmental disorders. They offer transitional care and support in the transition from adolescence to adulthood.

The successful Doctor will receive an excellent salary of £80,000 per annum with fantastic additional benefits such as; a group personal pension plan; private medical insurance scheme; life assurance; free meals on duty; child vouchers and many more.

Your role will involve:
• Being part of a successful multi-disciplinary team
• Managing specialist mental health, behavioural and psychological needs of patients suffering learning disabilities and provide input into rehabilitation
• Attending team meetings
• Assessing and treating new referrals
• Being involved with CPA, review meetings and Mental Health Review Tribunals
• Being available for crisis and on-call work
• Responding to the need for psychiatric input
• Dealing with some physical problems within your sphere of expertise that are drawn to your attention
• Taking part in clinical and interdisciplinary activities within the service
• Keeping up to date with current practices (journals, meetings and conferences)
• Being familiar with and complying with the policies and procedures laid down in the policy manual
• Interfacing externally to develop and manage person-centred pathways with other commissioning and provider services
• Being part of an out of hours on call rota
