The high staff to Service User ratio demonstrates and underpins our commitment to delivering high quality care which is responsive to Service User needs. You will see when visiting the home, that staff are very positive about working with our service users.
At Fairburn Mews we pride ourselves on creating a 'care first' environment for Service Users, where providing top quality care is our overriding priority in our specialist care environment. We work primarily with people that need mental health care and have complex needs, including personality and psychotic disorders. Service Users may also have physical needs including PEG tubes and other needs associated with diseases such as Huntington's.
We do a comprehensive pre admission assessment and develop a bespoke care package to meet our Service User's identified needs. We work with outside agencies and healthcare professionals to deliver the best possible healthcare. We support individuals with their healthcare needs but feel it is equally important to assist our service users to have a full and enjoyable lifestyle. Our team are committed to treating each Service User as the unique and individual person that they are. We have supported individuals to attend concerts, football grounds, cinema, theatre, shopping trips, day trips and to go on holiday. We also provide in house activities for our service users to join in with if they wish to.
