Inclusion & Support Co-ordinator - Autism Spectrum Conditions/Neurodiversity - Derby College
Derby College are recruiting to their "OFSTED Outstanding" Inclusion and Support Team who offer a huge range of support to students across all college sites.
Would you like to join the team as an Inclusion and Support Co-ordinator?
You will work collaboratively to lead inclusion development and practices across the College and will co-ordinate the work of a team of Inclusion and Support Specialists, Inclusion Trainers and Senior Educational Support Workers, which will include;
- Transition planning
- Interview and induction support and timetabling
- Tracking student activity
- Monitoring staff performance
- Managing a caseload of EHCP reviews and providing auditable and excellent quality documentary evidence.
You will have a strong track record of working in an Inclusion environment and naturally work from a person-centred social model. You will need excellent communication and organisation skills and will be an active team player with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
You will have experience and knowledge of working with students with a wide range of inclusion needs and how this may affect teaching, learning and assessment and progress to further study or employment.
The successful candidate will ideally be educated at Cert Ed/PGCE or equivalent with a specialist qualification in an area of disability/learning difficulty (ASC) at Level 4 or above.
