I am working with a small but niche client based in Brighton that is seeking a new team member to join and work with the Managing Director and Director to help with the development and management of a substantial book of business that is mainly in the Commercial Insurance arena.

You will be working alongside the Commercial Directors and should carry out any duties as requested by them.
To work with other brokers, management and clerical staff to provide a high standard of service to our existing clients.
Meeting objectives and targets set by management.
Contribute towards new ideas and processes within the office, to aid smooth running.
ToTo deal with post, telephone calls and emails on a day-to-day basis.
 Handling and processing of quotes, issuing of cover notes, and keeping files and client records accurately and in good order.
 Clerical and filing duties as required in the course of your work.
 Working extra hours to keep work within the department up to date at all times.
 Using the computer system and generating, printing and filing your own letters work in a manner which is best suited to increasing company profitability

The successful applicant must have relevant experience in the commercial sector. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential and a knowledge of General Commercial Business including, inter
, Commercial Combined, Combined Liability, Property Owners, Fleet Motor and Contractors’ All Risks. The position will require the applicant to provide administrative support for our existing business. Understanding clients’ requirements and providing an exceptionally high level of service is paramount. It is expected that the applicant will have an understanding of
requirements and regulations.
