Bookkeeper - Maternity Cover
Since 2010, HBS has been working with a wide range of clients around Halifax providing Bookkeeping Services.
We are currently looking for an experienced, qualified Bookkeeper to cover Maternity Leave starting April 2018 for 9 months at our busy office, just outside Halifax.
You will be working with a wide range of clients from different sectors dealing with the preparation of their accounts up to trial balance, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation, month end journals, VAT Returns, CIS and payroll including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
The successful applicant will need to be able to work quickly and accurately, have excellent organisational skills and be a good communicator. They will also need to be able to maintain good relationships with several clients whilst working to tight deadlines.
Working under their own initiative and taking full responsibility of the client's requirements working from our offices or on site at our client's premises with the Halifax and surrounding areas.
Use of Sage 50, Sage Payroll and Excel together with excellent IT skills are a must as is experience of MS Office Software, knowledge of Sage One and Payroll Manager and experience within a practice environment would be advantageous.
Hours are part time and salary £22k - £23K depending upon experience
